Most people know me by my first name, Nana, while a few call me by my nickname, AduKofs (pronounced Ay-doo-kofs), a play on my last name.

At my core, I’m a painter first and foremost. Painting is something I’ve practiced for decades, supported by years of formal training from a young age. My work focuses on experimentation with color, technique, and expression, creating pieces that are interpretive and emotionally driven. Every brushstroke has intention behind it. Beyond painting, I also enjoy working with digital media, particularly video editing and digital art, which allow me to explore creativity in different formats.

Basketball is another major influence in my work. I’ve been following the NBA for over a decade, and my appreciation for the sport naturally evolved into artistic inspiration. Every team and player has a unique story, identity, and world both on and off the court, which makes the NBA an exciting subject to explore creatively. I’m part of an online community where artists express sports especially basketball through visual art. One of my current projects is a basketball themed series featuring 30 players, one from each NBA team. The series is both a celebration of the game and an exploration of the personalities and narratives that make the sport fun to watch.
